Can’t say enough good things about this complex. I have been a resident for 7 months and the reviews show why this place is great. I've had some ongoing issues with my A/C unit this month, and the maintenance service has been fantastic every step of the way. Rome, in particular, has been great to work with, no matter how many times I've had to put in a request, he shows up ready to fix the problem and actually gets it done. He's professional, reliable, and clearly knows his stuff, and he always takes the time to make sure everything is working before he leaves. The whole crew has been solid, but Rome really stands out. In this Arizona heat, having someone you can count on to keep your A/C running makes a huge difference. Highly recommend!

I’ve been living at Northbend Apartments and my experience so far has been very positive. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, which makes it comfortable to live here every day. The amenities are modern, especially the gym and shared spaces, and they are usually not crowded. The location is excellent, with everything nearby which makes daily life easier. The staff are also friendly and helpful whenever needed. Overall, Northbend is a great place to live, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed community.

I have been living at Northbend for a little over a year now, and it’s been great. I’ve been loving my unit so far, nice high ceilings, soft-closing cabinets, very nice appliances, and an awesome dog park. The internet is also pretty quick; I’ve had little to no issues working from home and gaming from time to time. Maintenance is quick to fix things. Everyone I’ve interacted with at the front office has been so nice and accommodating. Big shoutout to Ahmad (although he is no longer at Northbend), Rece, Kelly, and Masina. Honestly for my first apartment this place is everything I wanted.

We highly recommend this apartment complex. Its gorgeous and well planned and thought out. Id like to thank the architect and planners personally if I could. Construction workers did an amazing job. Office staff is top notch super friendly and handles business quick and easy no issues. Reese is the man and everyone else is great too. The amenities are the best I've ever seen its unreal and perfect here. The property is so vast and open and even has a huge dog park with grass and hills and its own water dispenser for the dogs. No more hassle with keys or gate codes. They have parking passes that open the gates upon arrival you just drive right through and keyfabs for the buildings and apartment doors. Sliding glass doors are awesome no more shower curtains. Is a dream apartment. internet included also so no mire cable company outages. Plus theres a cell phone tower across the street so great cell signal. Close to in and out burger wing-stop and starbucks.

My family and I moved in May of 25 and have loved living here. Maintenence has been quick to make the couple fixes we needed in our unit and they keep the property clean and safe. Common areas are awesome the pools, fire pits, grills, TV’s outside, ping pong, bags and so much seating to lounge around. The indoor common areas are cozy and quiet. The gym is well maintained and has everything needed. My favorite….the events and monthly newsletter! Bingo, happy hours, the occasional donut or bagel, and food trucks. And the front desk staff is so kind and helpful! We have always felt welcome. My only critique would be that two trash dumpsters are needed vs just one.

Been at north bend for about 2 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Front office and maintenance actually cares that you like living here and that stuff is taken care of. No apartment is perfect but any issue I’ve had has been fixed right away. The people that live here all seem pretty chill and respectful and there’s a million Christmas trees in the windows if you walk around at night you’ll see them!

Overall just moved in. Appreciated the staff especially Rece who I worked with since August in securing a unit. Overall appreciate the cleanliness of the building and security. I’ve lived at Northbend Apartments for almost two months now, and I already love being part of this community. The complex is always clean, quiet, and well taken care of, and the gym has become one of my favorite amenities. It’s spacious, modern, and never too crowded. A special shoutout to Rece at the front desk, who has been incredibly helpful and welcoming since day one. Their support has truly made me feel at home here. I feel lucky to live at Northbend and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to call home in Tempe.

I have toured nearly every apartment complex within this price range because I am such a picky person and Northbend is simply the best apartment complex ever. Rece, Ahmad, and Chrissy are such fun and wonderful leasing managers! You can tell they genuinely care about their tenants and make this apartment such a welcoming place. The maintence men are always on top of it when we have a request and fix any issue no matter how big or small. The community events are always fun and a great way to make friends. They even have food trucks each week. Pool, gym, and amenities are always clean and never too crowded. There’s on site security guards too. Love it here!!

I wasn't looking forward to moving, I've had mediocre experiences with apartments over-promising and under-delivering for years. THIS WAS A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. Rece and Amad have been incredible. The compound is amazing. Real security that takes night patrols VERY seriously. Technology that works. Wifi that is lightning fast and never goes down. Clean amenities and grounds, no dog poo or anything. Good sound proofing. Great views. This place is truly a gem.

I recently moved into Northbend and I’m loving it so far! The whole process has been way smoother than I expected, and that’s all thanks to Rece at the front desk. Rece has been super helpful and made what could’ve been a stressful time much easier. The whole team here is great! They respond to my requests quickly, and I really appreciate that. As for my unit, I’m obsessed! The finishes are beautiful, and I feel totally at home. Getting in and out of the property is a breeze, and I feel safe here, which is really important to me. From the initial tour with Rece to the move-in process the Northbend team have been fantastic and have made all aspects of moving smooth and stress free. The community itself is beautiful with a large pool, spacious working space with private offices (great for working remote) and an awesome gym. If you are looking for your next home, I would highly recommend Northbend!

I absolutely love living here! I just moved in and I couldn’t be happier. Rece up at the front made this move pleasant and a breeze. The staff is great and the amenities are awesome. The complex seems to consist of mainly young professionals and everyone is super nice. It’s the first complex I’ve lived in that’s actually seems to have good insulation, I live on the fourth floor facing the freeway and I barely hear anything at all and it’s so quiet I can’t even tell if I have any neighbors. Everything it gated and it feels very secure. The property seems to be maintained well and it’s never dirty. They also have a lot of complex events and they are very community oriented. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to live with great units I highly recommend it.

I recently moved in, it’s a beautiful property that was just built within the last year, management was very efficient, not the most greeting management I’ve ever met but they were nice enough. They’re not going to hold your hand & tell you how great you are if that’s the kind of treatment you’re looking for, which I can appreciate - we’re all adults here. Regardless, for now the units are priced very competitively, as they’re offering an 8 week off discount - that is subject to change & if you’re reading this a year after it was posted there may be new management or not enough units available to keep the discount. Also perfectly located right inbetween Tempe & South Scottsdale, 2 minute drive in either direction. I’ve seen some reviewers complain about the wifi, I haven’t had an issue with it & I’m coming from the highest tier plan Cox had to offer but I’m not a remote worker so maybe during peak hours it’s way worse.

Edit: Changing from 1 to 4 stars. Kelly, the Northbend community director, called me after seeing my review saying they would absolutely be honoring their prior commitments. This doesn't totally make up for the prior unpleasant experience, but she showed Northbend is willing to act in good faith to make things right when wronged. *Original Review* Northbend might be the most unprofessional apartment staff I've ever interacted with. The Northbend website advertised 8 weeks free, a $250 Visa gift card, and 1/2 off admin and application fees if I applied today. During the tour, I didn't want to waste anyone's time, so I asked multiple times at the beginning whether this promotion applied to the 1 bedroom apartments we were looking at. The leasing team directly confirmed that the 8 week promotion and $250 Visa gift card did apply to those 1 bedroom apartments multiple times, and so I applied at the end of the tour. Later that day, the leasing staff called me saying the promotion actually doesn't apply to 1 bed

I was one of the first people to tour Northbend while it was still under construction, and now that I’ve moved in, I can say the property is beautiful, quiet, and well-maintained—exactly what I was looking for. That said, the move-in process was rocky. There was a lot of miscommunication, and I was told different things by multiple people regarding important details. It often felt like the team wasn’t on the same page, and I had to follow up several times to make sure things were handled correctly. Once I was able to speak directly with Rece and Ahmad, they were professional and helpful, and I appreciated their efforts. It seems like some of the confusion may have come from how the process was handled behind the scenes, with different team members working on different pieces and not everything getting communicated clearly. I’m glad to be settled in now and hopeful that communication improves going forward. The community itself is great, and I’m happy to be here—but I do think there’s room for management to
